ADHD Treatment & Evaluations in Port Townsend & across WA
Take ownership of your life with real answers and real support.
You’re not imagining it.
Deadlines get missed. You forget school forms, miss appointments, or return home three times just to get everything you need. Your car is cluttered, your partner is losing patience, and you’ve replaced your credit card more times than you can count.
And it’s not that you haven’t tried to figure things out on your own. But the paper calendars never help, the reminders still get missed, and no matter what you do to get organized, it never seems to make much of a difference.
At work, you’re constantly scrambling: interrupting your boss mid-sentence or zoning out during meetings. You miss out on promotions—not because you lack talent, but because staying on track feels impossible. At home, you worry your kids are starting to notice you’re always a few steps behind. And your emotions often feel just as unmanageable: quick to anger, overwhelmed by small things, or crying before you even know why.
WHAT IS ADHD?
Too many people spend years blaming themselves for symptoms that were never their fault.
ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects executive functioning—things like focus, memory, organization, and emotion regulation. It’s much more than a lack of effort or feeling unmotivated; it’s how your brain processes information and manages tasks.
Left untreated, it can feel like chaos or failure—but with the right support, it can become something you understand, navigate, and even appreciate. The very traits that once felt overwhelming may turn out to be another manifestation of your unique superpower—your creativity, your intuition, your ability to see connections others miss.
You might’ve suspected ADHD for a while, or you’re just now connecting the dots. Either way, you deserve care that helps you make sense of your experience without judgment and with real, helpful solutions.
How i can help
I offer comprehensive ADHD evaluations, clear diagnostic feedback, and a full range of treatment options to help you feel more focused, steady, and in control.
My approach is holistic and personalized, blending clinical expertise with deep respect for your lived experience.
We start with a 90-minute diagnostic evaluation to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. This includes exploring your medical background, mental health history, and how symptoms show up in your daily life (and may have for years).
If needed, I may include:
Input from partners, family members, or current and past providers
Laboratory work and review of your medical history to rule out underlying medical contributors
Screening tools for other mental health conditions
From there,
We move into a second 60-minute session focused on ADHD-specific symptoms: inattention, impulsivity, emotional regulation, hyperactivity, and how these may have evolved over time.
Once we can see things more clearly, I will walk you through every treatment option available—including medication and non-medication options. It’s important to me that you feel empowered to make the right choices for you, so your preferences and values will shape every step we take.
I also offer individual and group coaching for time management, organization, and executive functioning. If you need medication, skills, or both, we’ll build a care plan that actually helps.
ADHD treatment is about much more than a diagnosis.
It includes tools and support to help you:
Create systems that make day-to-day life actually work
Improve focus and follow-through on work and home tasks
Stop feeling like you're constantly behind or forgetting something
Manage emotions more effectively
Communicate and connect better with your partner or kids
Feel proud of how you move through the world—not ashamed
Support that works for you
Evaluation
Get a clear, compassionate diagnosis with a thorough evaluation process that looks at your full history—including your symptoms. Together, we’ll identify what’s really going on so you can move forward with answers and confidence.

Medication Management
If you’re curious about medication—or frustrated by what you’ve tried before—we’ll walk through all your options together. My job is to guide you to make a decision that feels right for you. You’ll get expert support, honest answers, and care that respects both your body and your goals.
02
Therapy & Skills-based Coaching
Sometimes what we need is a system that works the way your brain works. That might mean 1:1 support in therapy—especially if anxiety, depression, or trauma are also in the mix—or learning alongside others in a group setting. I offer real-life strategies to help with executive functioning, time management, and emotion regulation—so you’re not just managing ADHD, you’re learning to thrive with it.

FAQs
-
Yes. I offer integrative psychiatric care, which can include therapy—especially for concerns that often show up alongside ADHD, like anxiety, depression, trauma, or difficulty regulating emotions. I also integrate medication management, lifestyle support, and practical strategies for executive functioning.
-
Yes. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I can prescribe medications when they are appropriate. We’ll talk through all the options, including risks, benefits, and how medication might fit (or not fit) into your life. You’ll never be pushed toward a one-size-fits-all plan.
-
Nope. A diagnosis can be helpful, but it’s only the beginning. I stay involved to help you implement practical tools, adjust treatment as needed, and build a system that supports how your brain actually works.
-
That’s completely okay! Many people come to me unsure. My role is to offer information, support your values, and explore both medication and non-medication strategies. This is collaborative care—you get to decide what’s right for you.
-
That’s exactly what we can figure out together. My process includes a collaborative, yet systematic and evidence-based deep dive into your symptoms, health history, and current challenges. I also look at medical factors (like hormone changes or trauma) that can mimic or overlap with ADHD, so we’re not guessing—we’re getting to the root.
